60 Second Apologetic

The sermon this morning was on the first Christian martyr, Stephen.  Stephen stood up for Jesus, and saw Jesus standing up for him so that he could stand before Jesus for those who don't know him.  Listen to the sermon here Monday morning.

Stephen was not only the first martyr; he was also the first apologist, explaining and defending the Christian faith.  I'm going to start a regular part of our worship service called the "60 Second Apologetic," in which I give two or three ways to answer one question about the Christian faith.  But I need your help.  What questions do people ask you about Christianity?  What questions do you have yourself?  How can I help you be a better witness to Jesus Christ?

  1. I would think you could comment on something in the news from the previous week. There always seem to be a challenging headline. I appreciated this post in response to a headline.
