"Why are Christians such hypocrites?"

I rolled out the first 60 Second Apologetic yesterday with the question more people asked than any other: "Why are Christians such hypocrites?"  Here's my suggestion for how to answer...

1. We're hypocrites because we're human.  Hypocrisy is one of the many sins that all people (Christians included) fall into.  Hypocrisy is not unique to Christianity, but common to humanity.  What is unique is the Christian response...
2. Jesus died and rose again to forgive our sin.  We believe we are so self-centered, so self-righteous -- in a word, so hypocritical -- that when God himself came into the world, we killed him rather than listen to the truth about ourselves.  But Jesus rose from the dead to forgive our sin and set us free from it.  Faith in what Jesus has done -- not in what we do --  makes us different...
3. We know we're fallen.  In our church, we get down on our knees and confess our sin every single week.  That's not hypocrisy -- that's humility.
